Now i know how Amazon makes so much money
I got my standard half dozen junk emails this morning at work, and notice something a bit fishy with one of Amazon's advertised specials. Check it out:
At first glance, one thinks to onesself, 'Pumpkin Pie!', becuase, lets face it, you should have pumpkin pie on the brain this time of year.
Anyway, apparently Amazon was nice enough to offer me a once in a life time opportunity to buy a book after only a 17% markup of the list price. It's amazing they're able to stay in buisness w/ such deep discounts.

Perhaps it's reverse psychology at work: so many people are buying this item, it must be worth more than it really is selling for!

Hey thanks. i feel so rusty...the hardest part is finding the time i guess.
and in a psuedo-retraction, after looking at the ad a little closer, and adding up the numbers, it appears that it was an '18' and not a '10', but the line going through the middle hides the fact. so not quite as funny, but as i said before, i'm rusty.
Looks like a solid theological study! How many copies did you order?
I'm going to assume that Portland has been kicking your butt for the last three years since I don't see any posts.
